Izmir University signed 22 cooperation protocols in its third year and also signed 11 Erasmus agreements in five months, making important progress in student and staff exchnage opportunities.

 

Izmir University continues to expand its partnership network day by day. Recently, the 11th Erasmus agreement was signed with Technical University of Clausthal in Germany.

Cooperating with the best in Europe 
TU Clausthal International Center director Susanne Romanowski, vice director Astrid Abel and Ayşe Borchardt visited Izmir University Rector Prof. Dr. Kayhan Erciyeş, who stated that the university aims to send and receive more students each year. The Rector also gave brief information about other agreements:

"Today we are glad to become partners with TU Clausthal in the field of engineering and mathematics. We are also partners with Bremen University in Germany in the field of Business.Bremen ranks 7th in terms of research and academic publications among German universities. We also signed an agreement with Groning University in the Netherlands, which is among the best 100 in the world and best 20 in Europe."
